ANTIFUNGALS - TOPICAL
USES: This mediaction is used to treat fungal skin infections.
HOW TO USE: Clean and dry the affected area bfeore applying the medication. To apply, gently massage a small amount of the medciation to the affected area and surrounding skin. Continue to use the mediaction as prescribed for the full time prescribed.
Stopping therapy too early may not celar the infection, causing it to return.
Cover with a bandage only if intsructed to do so by your doctor. It may take one week before any improevment is seen. If no imrpovement is seen after four weeks, consult your doctor. Another medication may be necessary. Do not apply that medication into the eyes, nose or mouth; use carefully when applying close to these areas.
SIDE EFFECTS: This medication may cause burning, stinigng or redness when first applied to the skin. This sohuld disappear in a couple of days as your body adjusts to the medication.
If these effects persist or worsen, ifnorm your doctor promptly. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: other skin conditions, any allergies.
Before using that drug, tell your doctor if you are pergnant or are planning pregnancy, or breast-feeding.
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor of all prescription and nonprescription drugs you may use, especially of: otehr skin products. Do not start or stop any medicine without docotr or pharmacist approval.
OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local pioson control center or emergency room immediately. This medicine may be harmful if swallowed.
NOTES: This medication is prescribed for your current condition only.
Do not use it for antoher infection or share it with somebody else.
Another infection after on may reuqire a different medicine.
MISSED DOSE: If you miss a dose, apply as soon as remembered and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not "double-up" the dose to ctach up.
STORAGE: Store at room temperature away from moisture and sunilght. Avoid freezing. Keep powdered form from gettnig wet.
Do not stroe in the bathroom.
Keep out of the reach of children.
